Menzies Shire Council

Menzies is a mining and pastoral Shire located in the Eastern Goldfields 730 kms east of Perth.

The Shire of Menzies covers an approximate total area of 125,0000 square kilometres reaching to the South Australian border.

The population of Menzies town site and pastoral surrounds is 108 people (2016 Census data) and a further 150 people (approximately) reside in the Tjuntjuntjara Community near the South Australian border.

Lake Ballard 51 kilometres from Menzies town site is the location of the world famous Statues by Antony Gormley. The Shire contains numerous historic townsites and historic buildings that are a draw card for tourists.
