Does a career in Aquatic Services appeal to you? If so, the Shire is seeking to build a talent pool of suitably experienced candidates who would be interested in gaining an opportunity to be part of the Aquatic Services team as an Aquatic Services Officer or Aquatic Operator.

Aquatic Services Officer
Level 3 $59,419 - $65,604 per annum

The role will primarily involve lifeguarding duties and will also administrative duties such as customer service. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in lifeguard practices, water safety principles, crowd control and an ability to achieve Bronze Medallion
  • Ability to implement the highest standards of public supervision and safety
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate

Aquatic Operator
Level 4 $64,201 - $70,883 per annum

In this role, you will be required to assist supervising with the delivery of Aquatic Services. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in supervising the service delivery of Aquatic Services
  • Demonstrated pool operator supervision skills
  • Current Pool Operators Certificate
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
