The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide, and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

About you
You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience, your knowledge of your industry is diverse, and you have the ambition and drive to succeed as a mentor to students by passing on your expertise and knowledge.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Certificate III in Electrical Trades
  • Minimum five (5) years industry experience as a qualified Electrician
  • Must have an Electrical licence
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service
  • Commitment and willingness to learn and develop as a professional teacher
  • ** Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent

If you don’t have a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, but you do have a passion for Electrical Trades and are able to commit to additional training, we encourage your application as you might be eligible for our TAE scholarship program, which is your entry to an exciting career as a Part-Time Casual Teacher.
