Job Description

A vacancy exists at Capricornia SDE (Rockhampton) for a dedicated mathematics teacher looking to support the learning of students in a distance education setting. The successful applicant must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and technology skills. The school would be willing to consider applications from Primary teachers with strong mathematical skills looking to transition their teaching expertise to a junior secondary environment. Secondary Maths teachers with science or humanities are also encouraged to apply.

The Capricornia School of Distance Education (CSDE) is a unique twin Campus school which shares a site with Denison State School in Emerald and Glenmore State School in Rockhampton. Our Emerald Campus caters for students from eKindy to Year 6. Our Rockhampton Campus caters for eKindy to Year 12 students.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
