About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Community Development team. This position has a particular focus on the coordination, promotion, delivery and evaluation of community development programs, events and initiatives with a particular focus on the City’s Reconciliation Action Plan.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in report writing and will actively promote community development initiatives, build strong partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and continuously identify new opportunities to meet the needs of the community.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have a tertiary qualification Diploma or Certificate level qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Human Services or similar discipline or; demonstrated equivalent professional experience in a relevant field (two years minimum). For this role Aboriginality is a genuine requirement under Section 50D of the Equal Employment Opportunity act of 1984 (WA).

You will also possess strong project management experience and can demonstrate the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
