This role is aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of Council’s Health and Safety Management System throughout the Asset Maintenance Department.

You will work with team leaders and employees to develop operations manuals, review and document safe methods of work and embed the health and safety management system into everyday practices.

Our ideal candidate:

With your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to work with your colleagues to ensure positive safety outcomes. You can multi-task, prioritise, meet deadlines, and use technology and software solutions to get your job done well.

You will preferably have:

  • Relevant tertiary or industry qualification
  • Experience or knowledge of key responsibility areas in safety and asset operations
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Local Government
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence
