The City of Nedlands is seeking an enthusiastic Works Operator to join our friendly Civil Maintenance Team.

About the role

Reporting to the Works Supervisor, this position is required to assist with the maintenance and construction of all civil infrastructure pertaining to roads, nature strips, footpaths, traffic, drainage and laneways throughout the City of Nedlands.

About the successful candidate

The successful candidate will have the following;

  • Current MR class Driver’s Licence
  • General Construction Induction ‘White’ Card
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certification
  • Bobcat & Excavator competency

We are seeking a motivated individual with minimum 2 years’ civil maintenance experience, effective interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability who is a team player.

Desirable skills include;

  • Forklift Licence
  • Front End Loader Ticket
  • Conduct Operations with Integrated Tool Carrier competency
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate

What we offer

This level four position offers a cash salary of $62,786 per annum plus superannuation with training and development opportunities to further your career.
