The future is bright in Western Australia’s beautiful South West, with the region set to embark on the next growth phase and beyond.
To facilitate this growth, and combat periods of skills shortages, 12 local governments have partnered to establish the South West Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA); a collaborative effort to meet the labour market needs of our combined business communities.
The DAMA is a formal agreement with the Australian Government, and provides access to more overseas workers than the standard skilled migration program. It allows South West employers to sponsor skilled and semi-skilled overseas workers for positions that they are unable to fill with local workers.
An exciting opportunity now exists for a suitable individual to develop and progress the South West DAMA process, in the key role of Designated Area Migration Agreement Officer.
