About the role:
Prepare, deliver and assess units of competencies across Cyber Security and IT subjects to a range of eager students at Melbourne Polytechnic.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Appropriate post-secondary qualifications together with relevant and recent industrial experience in cyber security.
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles, teaching methodologies and a demonstrated high standard of teaching practice; and a commitment to learner-centred teaching.
  • Proven capacity to plan, schedule and meet agreed deadlines in the completion of duties and to work both productively, individually and within a team and to have the capacity to liaise with the Manager regarding student and case management issues.

Payment is at the rate of:

  • $78.22 per hour for Casual Teaching -Certificate IV qualified
  • $81.37 per hour for Casual Teaching-Diploma or equivalent (AQF5) teacher training qualified.
  • $84.57 per hour for Casual Teaching-AQF6 teacher training qualified
