TAFE Queensland is currently looking for industry experts who are ready to pass on their knowledge, industry experience and skills to students across its East Coast region.

As the state’s largest, most experienced training provider, TAFE Queensland delivers practical, industry-relevant training across a range of sectors, from entry-level certificates to advanced diplomas. Our dedicated educators are at the core of everything we do and we are now looking to create a talent pool of likeminded experts to ensure we can adjust our business as demand changes.

TAFE Queensland East Coast regularly has vacancies (short and long term) for educators in various qualification delivery areas. This is a talent pool for opportunities in Graphic Design

Educators may be required to work at a number of TAFE Queensland campuses across the East Coast region, including the following locations: Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Gympie, Nambour, Mooloolaba and Sunshine Coast Health Institute.

When being interviewed for Educational roles, you will be assessed against these key result areas:

  1. Possess skills and knowledge of national training packages and accredited courses to support competency development and the ability to respond positively to industry and individual needs.
  2. Demonstrate capacity for best practice in the management of teaching and learning activities including the development of industry relevant, flexible, innovative, technology enhanced learning options, training products and solutions.
  3. Demonstrate capacity for initiative, self-management, teamwork and sustainable practice, with the ability to accept, promote and manage change through the use of well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Demonstrate commitment to self-development with the focus on maintaining skills contemporary industry and teaching practices and the use of educational technologies and Learning Management Systems to support learning.
  5. Possess sound knowledge of safe, equitable and anti-discriminatory work practices and demonstrate ability to be flexible, inclusive, responsive and deliver a quality student experience.
