Job Description

Council's Works Engineers are tasked with providing expert advice in relation to the planning, management and delivery of Council's Works Program. They provide an essential service to our community and their expertise is essential in driving the productive output of teams under their supervision.

Working in conjunction with Works Supervisors, our Works Engineers are required to oversee the delivery of Council’s civil infrastructure work plans to the quality standards expected by Transport for NSW and other regulators, and must ensure that infrastructure works are delivered safely, within appropriate timeframes and under budget.

To be successful in this role, you will be a suitably qualified engineer with extensive experience in a local government or civil construction setting, and you will have exceptional knowledge of the responsibilities of the role and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
