The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is currently looking for a suitably qualified Greenkeeper to help maintain our world class golf course facility.
The Kalgoorlie Golf Course is an 18 hole, par 72, course that is currently ranked #58 in Australian Golf Digest’s Top 100 courses. Designed by Graham Marsh, it has become one of the most iconic golf courses throughout Australia, annually hosting the Western Australian PGA Championships.
This 18-hole layout is situated 600km east of Perth in the middle of the outback and provides a beautiful and unique setting, challenging even the most avid golfing enthusiast.
The successful candidate will have obtained, at a minimum, their certificate III in Sports Turf Management along with the ability to work in a team environment, be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised while demonstrating excellent safe work practices. A keen interest in golf will also be highly regarded.
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has the ability to employ workers holding visa permits and Kalgoorlie is classed as regional, for those looking to obtain permanent Australian residency.
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
