Permanent, Full-time (average of 38 hours per week)

Responsible for coordinating the delivery of a high quality and cost effective integrated asset management framework, you will be supported by a small team of professionals. Together you will ensure that asset management policies, strategies and plans are developed, communicated and implemented to ensure accurate and appropriate reporting, system improvement and asset performance are achieved. Ultimately, along with your team and key stakeholders, you will ensure that the City’s asset management maturity journey continues in a well-planned and timely manner.

You possess highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven experience managing a team to achieve strong results. You possess advanced knowledge in infrastructure and asset management systems and databases, and have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of asset management at both a strategic and operational level. A current and valid C Class Drivers Licence is essential for this role.

  1. Diploma/Degree in Asset Management, Civil Engineering, Geographical Information Systems or Surveying
  2. Strong leadership abilities and team building skills
  3. Extensive knowledge of strategic asset management systems and databases
  4. Advanced knowledge of strategic asset management principles and legislation
  5. Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
  6. Advanced skills in the revaluation of infrastructure assets
  7. Excellent computer literacy and a highly developed knowledge of computer applications

We are offering a cash salary of $101,486 per annum and:

  • 11% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute a further 4%
