The Shire of Goomalling is seeking applications to fill the position of Building Maintenance Officer. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Works Manager and the Property Officer and will be responsible for carrying out construction, repairs and maintenance work on Council’s buildings, assets and equipment, in accordance with the construction and maintenance program.
This will be a permanent full time position and conditions of employment will be as provided by the Municipal Employees (Western Australia) Interim Award 2011 with salary negotiable dependent upon experience. Housing may be available at a subsidised rental.
The successful applicant will have to undergo a Medical Assessment including Drug and Alcohol testing prior to commencement of employment. A 6-month probation period is applicable.
