Sheoak Grove Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of highly motivated and enthusiastic Teachers of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2022

Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.

Suitable applicants will ideally be highly motivated, highly skilled educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for students, have a passion for teaching and a commitment to public school education.

They should show a commitment to connected, whole school instructional practices within a highly collaborative environment. The suitable applicants will be highly motivated, energetic and possess the ability to promote excellence and contribute strongly to existing effective teams.

They will ideally have a highly effective, evidence based pedagogical approach that prioritises explicit teaching while providing a balance with planned, purposeful inquiry and play-based learning opportunities.

Members of our teaching staff are effectively engaged in valid educational measurement practice and respond appropriately to data analysis.

Employees will be required to:

  • be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. Employees will be required to:

  • complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
  • complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
