About the Position
Based at one of our City depots, the position of Construction worker will work as a team undertaking construction works as required by the City's works program.

The Selection Process
As part of our selection process, you may be required to undertake a one way video interview via SparkHire, and a face to face interview or virtual interview via Microsoft Teams or Skype. You may also be required to undertake police checks, employment history checks, qualification checks and drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Australian Standards and Council's procedures.

Essential: Do you hold a current MR Class (Medium Rigid) unrestricted drivers licence & a current WHS Licence General Construction (White Card)? Please upload a copy as one document in 'Identification Documents'.
Essential: Do you possess a Certificate II (or higher) in Construction (Civil) or equivalent knowledge? Please provide details and upload a copy of your qualification under 'Education Certificate'.
Essential: Please provide an overview of your experience in construction/maintenance of civil engineering works including roadways, footpaths, bikeways, stormwater drainage, concrete finishing, pipe laying, pit construction and formwork.
Essential: Please explain your experience with the operation of minor equipment and machinery associated with various works tasks relevant to the role.
Essential: Outline your qualifications and experiences related to high risk activities including electrical awareness and confined spaces. Have you completed Energex M320 Electrical awareness training? If so please upload a copy of your qualification under 'Education Certificates'.
