This position leads the City’s Urban & Regional Development Branch which includes the teams of Town Planning, Building Surveying, Development Compliance and Ranger Services, ensuring the City’s obligations and functions are carried out in a professional and efficient manner.

The successful applicant will have a Degree in Town Planning or related field and experience in a management position. Additionally, extensive experience working with government agencies, private consultants, and community are key requirements of the position.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
This role is offered as a five (5) year fixed term contract. A salary package of up to $167,500 per annum will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
