This school is located in Mount Gambier and will operate with an expected enrolment of approximately 510 students in 2022.
This position requires a flexible approach to teaching. The school is building a culture with a strong emphasis on consistency, collaboration and team work, where data is used to effectively differentiate and individualise instruction.
This work has a strong focus on improving Literacy and Numeracy outcomes for all students.
Teachers are expected to actively participate in research to ensure evidence-based teaching strategies are being implemented within the classroom.
The InitialLit program is used to effectively build sound knowledge within junior classrooms and lay strong foundations for more advanced reading skills.
To support student wellbeing, the Berry Street Education Model is a whole school focus and as a result, teachers are using the strategies and approaches to increase engagement and achievement for all students.
The successful applicant will be required to build and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders within the school community and support the implementation of strategies aligned to site improvement priorities.
