Introduction to Greater Hume Council
Greater Hume is located in southern New South Wales, bordering with Victoria and the local government areas of Wagga Wagga, Albury, Federation, Lockhart, and Snowy Valleys Councils. It covers an area of 5,929km² with the major towns being Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook, Jindera, and Walla Walla. Pool Lifeguard positions are offered on a casual and seasonal basis and create great working opportunities given the flexible nature of the position. Lifeguards are required across Council’s 5 pools including, Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook, Jindera and Walla Walla with shifts ranging from early morning and also into the evening.

Lifeguards are required across 5 pools on a causal basis, from late October to early March. Shifts are casual and can accommodate other commitments you may have. Aspects of the uniform are supplied and any PPE required for the position. Salary ranges from $33.35 to $37.35 gross per hour including 25% causal loading, appropriate penalties are also paid plus a10% Council Superannuation contribution.
