Details: The Climate Change and Energy Programs business unit is seeking to employ a Program Officer to cover a 12 month period of maternity leave, working as part of the Sustainable Household Scheme project team. The Sustainable Household Scheme offers zero-interest loans to eligible ACT households to assist with the upfront costs of investing in energy efficient home upgrades.
The successful applicant will work as part of the small project team to assist with the implementation of the Scheme. The role will include assisting with the development of program materials and communication materials, engaging with industry and community members about the Scheme, and liaising with external stakeholders.
Other work may include assisting with procurement processes, contract management and writing Ministerials and briefs. The role also includes ongoing collaboration with other teams in the Division. After hours and weekend work may be required to assist with workshops and attend events.

Notes: This is a temporary position available for a period of 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position is located in a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
