An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced registered Building Surveyor to join a rural Council whilst still within an easy drive to major regional centres.

In this role you will be presented with numerous opportunities to demonstrate your professional abilities by providing proper and thorough administration of the Building Act, Regulations and Council policies throughout the municipality.
Is this you? You have excellent knowledge of the Building Code and Act and ensure that you comply with the relevant building standards through the coordination and effective administration of enforcement activities. You pride yourself on your expert technical advice relevant to this position.
In addition you have experience operating as a Municipal Building Surveyor, have undertaken work of a similar nature and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
