This is an exciting opportunity for experienced, passionate and results-driven People and Culture professionals to join the growing Department of Education People and Culture Business Partner Team.

About the role

The People and Culture Business Partner provides crucial support to the People and Culture Business Partnering team to deliver strategic people and culture programs and initiatives across the Department. You will work closely with executives and the Senior People and Culture Business Partners to support the design and delivery of people strategies, solutions and change initiatives

This is an exciting role that will contribute to the delivery of:

  • Organisational design
  • Leadership development
  • Strategic workforce planning
  • People plans and strategies
  • Culture and engagement initiatives

About you

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executives across a range of People and Culture functions in a large, complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or relevant experience.
