The MacDonnell region is located in the centre of Australia. Covering 270,000sq km and with an estimated population approaching 7,000, it has a unique beauty with picturesque water holes, magnificent flora and fauna, red desert sands and rugged mountain ranges.
This position will be based in our Alice Springs Office, which is the regional headquarters to councils' 13 remote communities and outstation locations.
As the Coordinator Learning and Development, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of MRC's Workforce Development Plan, and creating relevant learning opportunities for MRC staff members. You will lead strategic workforce development projects, and leadership programs.
Our successful candidate will ideally hold a degree level qualification in relevant discipline or have significant experience in the training and development area. Furthermore you will have knowledge of administering an online Learning Management System, and, experience in developing and evaluating training programs.
