Due to development opportunities within the HR team we currently have two temporary full-time opportunities available! We are seeking two temporary Human Resources Officers to join our team.
In this role you will partner with our Human Resources Business Partners to deliver generalist Human Resources services across Council. As one of our Human Resources Officers you will be responsible for coordinating end to end recruitment and selection, organising corporate training, facilitating staff inductions & employee onboarding/offboarding, and general HR administration. In collaboration with the Business Partner you will provide advice to management and staff in regards to the interpretation of Council’s industrial instruments, assist with the delivery of policies and protocols and undertake a range of administrative tasks.
To hit the ground running as our HR Officer you will possess a Diploma in Human Resources and/or relevant knowledge and experience in the Human Resources space. You will have demonstrated experience in recruitment, training, and/or generalist Human Resources services. To achieve success in this role you will be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills and have an ability to develop strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders quickly.
These are temporary full-time roles for a period of six months and twelve-months. Both positions will work 35 hours per week and attract a salary of $66,852 - $74,206 per year + 9.5% p.a. super, based on demonstrated skills and experience. You will also be eligible to participate in Council’s Roster Day Off (RDO) scheme.
