About the Role

Based at the 17-bed Carinya Aged Care Facility in Miles, you will be responsible and accountable for clinical leadership and delivery of quality and safe care and services to the residents. The role will deliver on-site expert clinical support and governance to consumers and the workforce whilst working in partnership with the Operations Coordinator-Residential Aged Care.

Reporting to the Health Services Regional Manager, you will;

  • be an enthusiastic & influential leader focused on the provision of clinical care to residents and the management of clinical staff;
  • have prior experience in a leadership role, the ability to energise and support the facility team through your collaborative leadership style.
  • have experience in understanding and interpreting the Accreditation Standards within Aged Care guidelines;
  • have advanced clinical assessment skills and delivery of nursing skills; and
  • be on-call when required.

About you

The successful applicant will:

  • have a current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
  • be able to meet the criteria for 'Key Personnel';
  • have a demonstrated understanding of new Aged Care Accreditation Standards and measures to demonstrate compliance; and
  • have excellent people and change management skills.
