About the role

The City of Nedlands is seeking two experienced Irrigation Technician to assist with the maintenance and operation of the City irrigation systems.

Reporting to a Parks Supervisor, key responsibilities include:

  • Installation, maintenance and programming of City irrigation systems;
  • Evaluation, fault finding and testing of City irrigation systems; and
  • Collaboration with other Parks employees to ensure required service delivery standards are met    

About the successful candidate

The person we seek will have a Certificate III in Irrigation and/or well-developed experience in irrigation maintenance together with sound knowledge of irrigation maintenance principles and practices such as replacing / repairing sprinklers, ability to repair low voltage wiring and solenoids as well as the programming of reticulation controllers.

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Construction Induction ‘White’ Card
  • Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.

A Basic Traffic Management Certificate would be considered advantageous.

This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of $64,670 per annum plus superannuation and use of a work vehicle.
