Mango Hill State Secondary College is seeking an employee to join our teaching team in English, Years 7 - 10 for Semester 1 2022, with possibility for extension.

Mango Hill State Secondary College opened in 2020, and currently caters to Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students. In 2022, Year 10 will be implemented commencing our senior school program. Teachers joining the College in 2022 will have exceptional relational skills, be driven to build a positive, welcoming and supportive learning culture, demonstrate deep use of evidence-based practice, and be willing and able to commit to the college's culture, development and growth.

The successful applicant will have a significant role in the development of an engaging, future-focused curriculum, responsive to the needs of our students and the world of tomorrow.
Successful applicants will be dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative in their approach to delivering the Australian Curriculum Year 7 -10 and the Queensland Senior Curriculum. Expertise in senior secondary subjects, including General and Essential English will be highly considered but not essential. Graduates and early career teachers are welcome to apply.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher. Workers in education settings, including schools, early childhood and care services (such as kindergartens and childcare centres) or Outside School Hours Care, will need to have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by 17 December 2021, and the second dose by 11:59pm on 23 January 2022.
