About the Health and Regulatory Services Branch:
The Health & Regulatory Services Branch is one of the largest service providers in the City. It delivers over 300 front line public health, environmental and safety-related services critical to the ongoing health, lifestyle, and prosperity of the Gold Coast community. About the Position
Reporting to the Executive Coordinator, Lifeguard Services, the Chief Lifeguard will effectively manage the City's lifeguard services across its beaches. Focussing on inspiring and driving world-leading performance from our dedicated and professional Lifeguard team, you will manage the 3 Superintendents, 40 full-time, 27 part-time and 180 casual Lifeguards, as they serve the City of Gold Coast's community members and international visitors.

The Selection Process
As part of our selection process, you may be required to undertake a one-way video interview via SparkHire, and a face to face interview or virtual interview via Microsoft Teams. You may also be required to undertake police checks, employment history checks, qualification checks and drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Australian Standards and Council's procedures.
