We currently have four positions available:

English and Health & Physical Education (Year 7-10 English, Year 7-10 Health & Physical Education, Year 11-12 Applied Sport and Recreation)
- The successful candidate will have experience in supporting and working with students from complex and diverse backgrounds. Experience with the Positive Behaviour for Learning framework along with knowledge of and experience with trauma informed practices.

English and Humanities (Year 7-10)

Health & Physical Education and Students with Disability (SWD) (Year 7-10 Health & Physical Education, Year 11-12 Applied Sport and Recreation, and Year 7-12 SWD)
- The successful candidate will have experience in supporting and working with students from complex and diverse backgrounds. Experience with the Positive Behaviour for Learning framework along with knowledge of and experience with trauma informed practices. Experience working with Students with Disability (locally known as Diverse Learners). Experience with differentiation instructions to engage all learners. Supporting the college's inclusion model which allows teachers to make reasonable adjustments and differentiated teaching and learning for Students with Disability to achieve the educational standards of the Australian Curriculum.

Mathematics and Science (Year 7-10)

Bellbird Park State Secondary College is one of Queensland's newest secondary schools. The school opened in January 2017 for year 7 students and continued to grow a year level at a time until this year, when our first year 12 students will graduate. As a brand-new school, we are blessed with state-of-the-art facilities and programs to match.   • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher. For more information regarding registration requirements, please click here.
  • In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please click here.
  • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.

Workers in education settings, including schools, early childhood and care services (such as kindergartens and childcare centres) or Outside School Hours Care, are required to have received the prescribed number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine by 23 January 2022.
