Wentworth Shire Council has an excellent opportunity for an Accountant to join the Finance team in Wentworth.
Reporting to the Manager Finance, this position will support a broad range of financial and accounting services, financial reporting and administration of taxation compliance requirements. To be successful in this position, you will have a high attention to detail, be suitably qualified and capable of undertaking financial and accounting tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
This position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three month probation period and has a commencement salary of $72,467.20 to $84,380.40 plus 9.5% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment.
