Transfer EOI, Primary Teacher - Palmview State Primary School

EOI - Open only to existing permanent teachers with the Department of Education via the teacher transfer process. Palmview State Primary School is looking for exceptional teachers to join the current staff members of this new state Primary School. Eligibility 

To be eligible to apply you must be a permanent teacher with the Department of Education and have a current application for transfer in the 2022-2023 teacher transfer process which includes a comment on screen 15 of your application indicating your interest in Palmview State Primary School . Applicants that do not meet this requirement will be automatically excluded.

• A new state primary school in the growing area of Palmview which opened for Prep to Year 6 students in 2021.

• The Primary School is co-located with the Special School and the High School which will open in 2023. This provides scope for the development of a unique and powerful Palmview Learning Community, to facilitate professional collaboration and curriculum implementation across all three schools.

• A brief resume (maximum 3 pages) including contact details for 2 referees (one of whom should be your current supervisor)
• Submit a maximum 2 page written response outlining your suitability for the role - specifically:
  • What has been your greatest learning and teaching achievement in the last 12 months? 
  • If selected to be a teacher at Palmview Primary, outline how you would add value to our culture?

Workers in education settings, including schools, early childhood and care services (such as kindergartens and childcare centres) or Outside School Hours Care, are required to have received the prescribed number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
