About the Role

The Change and Communications Lead will be responsible for developing and delivering high quality, fit for purpose and effective change management strategies and plans to influence the successful implementation of a range of Digital Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Program and Project Managers in the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement Change & Communications Management Strategies and Plans.
  • Engage with and support leaders and teams to achieve successful adoption of change initiatives.
  • Facilitate or support leaders in the delivery of information sessions, presentations and other project change and communication activities
  • Prepare reports, briefings and presentations to support and influence stakeholders to achieve project objectives and provide successful transition for teams and individuals
  • Provide input into the design and delivery of training programs where required.
  • Hands on end to end management of all change and communications activities including identifying and responding to any issues or risks that may impact the change
  • Provide progress reports to Manager Change, Program Manager, Executive Team, Senior Leaders and any relevant project governance bodies.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience and success in leading and implementing large scale digital transformational change projects within a complex environment, delivering on organisational objectives and building employee engagement through the process.

  • Highly experienced in the development and implementation of change and communication strategies and plans.
  • Experience in managing change and communications for projects involving one or more of the following; Asset Management, Data Management, Online Bookings, O365 and/or a range of online applications enabling workforce mobility.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experienced in providing advice, coaching and support to Leaders in leading change.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills (including development of communication collateral) to engage, influence and gain commitment with people from all levels of an organisation
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce/Business, Organisation Psychology, Business Administration or a similar field, plus substantial experience, or an equivalent combination of lessor formal qualifications and substantial specialist experience in a senior change management position.
  • Certified Change Management Practitioner (Prosci or similar)


Qualification/certification and / or extensive working knowledge in a project management methodology such as Prince II or Agile
Understanding of local and state government processes and approval requirements.
