The Service Management unit provides the Quality Assurance and Testing Services across multiple Applications and domains, i.e. Corporate and Schools.

The recruitment is for two roles in the SAP Testing team, which provides testing services to SAP Solutions implemented within the department.

About the role

The Lead Quality Testing Analyst provides technical consulting / subject matter expertise in the design, execution, analysis and reporting of test plans and strategies for enterprise systems / sub-systems under development and the application of quality assurance processes in order to safeguard the quality, reliability and completeness of educational and business systems deployed on DoE platforms.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
  • Extensive experience as an SAP Test Lead working across large portfolios and programs of work with in-depth understanding of core SAP functional and implementation principles
  • Extensive experience and or SAP certification as a SAP Tester with working knowledge of Payroll processes and modules like PA, OM, Time and Leave, ESS and MSS
  • Strong understanding of core FI/CO modules (GL, AP and AR) and associated processes such as reporting, banking and payment runs
  • Understanding and experience in Test Automation
  • Experience working in a complex environment with many stakeholders and vendors
  • Strong experience using HP ALM in the preparation of Test Plans, test scripts, test results and defect reports
  • A solid understanding of the various software testing methodologies, types and test case design techniques
  • Experience in testing enterprise messaging systems and the various protocols
    Strong T-SQL knowledge and ability to write simple queries
  • Experience is testing enterprise messaging systems and the various protocols
