Telarah Public School develops students to be Safe, Positive Learners delivered through quality teaching, high levels of resourcing and strong community support built on positive relationships that value education.
Telarah Public School is situated in the western Maitland suburb of Telarah. The school is a P- 6 setting with enrolment of approximately 500 students with 18 mainstream classes, 2x K-6 Support classes for Emotional Disturbance (ED), an Early Intervention Unit (EIU) and a 2unit Preschool.
Enrolment is 25% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background, 4% non-English speaking backgrounds. Our Preschool is 1 of only 100 NSW Department of Education Preschools and has achieved the rating of Exceeding in all Quality Areas.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
