About the Directorate
The Information Technology Directorate leads the provision of state-of-the-art information and communications technologies to students and teachers in NSW government schools, TAFE and DoE Corporate Staff.
About the role
Develop flexible, efficient systems to consolidate and analyse financial data involving different source systems. Foster and sustain strategic partnerships across Divisions, schools, the wider Education Cluster particularly Finance and relevant external agencies.
The role works towards improving business outcomes and negotiates with and influences a variety of stakeholders. Continuous improvement through enhanced systems and processes supporting financial and resource management.

Essential requirements of the role
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
Key knowledge and experience
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
About you
Can you combine data from multiple sources with finance data to create meaningful management reports that will assist in strategic decision making at various levels within one of the largest public service organisations in New South Wales?
Your primary focus will deliver enhanced management reporting for approximately 2200 schools across the state.
The role is part of the Finance Systems team in the Digital Finance section of the Information Technology Directorate.
