Leyburn (pop - <500) is small rural town with a rich colonial history, as well as the site of the famous annual “Leyburn Historic Sprints,” situated on the Darling Downs. You'll be a scenic 2 hour drive to the Bunya Mountains, where you can explore the extensive range of walking trails, hand feed colourful native birds and soak up the panoramic mountain views, a 50 minute drive from the vibrant city of Toowoomba (Queensland's largest inland city) and a pleasant 45 minute drive from the large historic town of Warwick.
