Lugarno Public School has an enrolment of 260 students and is located in the Georges River Network. The Itinerant Hearing team based at Lugarno Public School comprises six teaching positions. Each teacher has a caseload and works with students from Preschool to Year 12 across several school networks.
Students are from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The Itinerant Support Teacher Hearing develops and implements quality individualised programs for students on their case load.
They liaise with and support mainstream teachers to develop inclusive education programs and enhance student learning outcomes.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
From 8 November 2021 all Department of Education employees undertaking relevant work, including any work conducted on a NSW school site, will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
