The Opportunity:

Gainsborough State School opened to the Pimpama community in January 2021 for students from Prep - Year 6. All staff at Gainsborough State School take the role of supporting our children with their learning journey seriously and we are all committed to working together with families to make learning engaging, age appropriate and collaborative. The role of educating our students relies on a healthy partnership between home and the classroom. When this relationship is strong, the positive outcomes for the students are more pronounced.

Gainsborough State School is rapidly growing and has a built capacity for approximately 1200 students. We have clear directions and targets around an explicit improvement agenda and this is supported by our curriculum being underpinned by New Pedagogies for Deep Learning, as well as Inclusive Education practices across the school.

Connections with our children and our community are critical to our school's culture and we are always striving to be a school our whole community feels proud to be involved with. Our staff members continually find new ways to engage our children in their learning journey and are great communicators with our families, ensuring home and school are working together towards the best outcomes for each and every student.
