Job Description

EOI - Open only to existing permanent teachers with the Department of Education via the teacher transfer process. Gainsborough State School is looking to add passionate and innovative educators to its teaching team, in preparation for the 2023 school year. Eligibility 

To be eligible to apply you must be a permanent teacher with the Department of Education and have a current application for transfer in the 2022-2023 teacher transfer process which includes a comment on screen 15 of your application indicating your interest in Gainsborough State School. Applicants that do not meet this requirement will be automatically excluded.

The Opportunity:

Gainsborough State School opened to the Pimpama community in January 2021 for students from Prep - Year 6. All staff at Gainsborough State School take the role of supporting our children with their learning journey seriously and we are all committed to working together with families to make learning engaging, age appropriate and collaborative.   • Submit a maximum 2 page written response outlining your suitability for the role - specifically:
    • How do you build a welcoming and supportive classroom culture? 
    • How do you design learning tasks that are engaging and inclusive of diverse learners?
