The Shire of Carnarvon is looking to establish a group of community-minded candidates to assist in delivering community development programs, especially in youth development and community capacity building. We have several immediate vacancies to fill in our Community Service Team for those with requisite skills, on a permanent basis and for up to 12 months either on a casual, full or part-time basis.

This position's inherent requirement is that the employee complies with all applicable State and Federal mandates and public health directions. This role is presently covered by the COMMUNITY CARE SERVICES WORKER (RESTRICTIONS ON ACCESS) DIRECTIONS (No 2) and may, in the future, become subject to other directions. Under this (and any future) Direction, the employee must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any directed booster(s). The employee must provide the Shire of Carnarvon with acceptable proof of vaccination to be considered for this role and, as required, provide ongoing confirmation when eligible for boosters. Failure to be vaccinated or refusal to provide acceptable proof of vaccination will be viewed as the employee not being able to fulfil the inherent requirements of the role.
