The Position

We are looking for an engaging Community Development Officer to play a key role in strengthening community capacity, building networks and enhancing relationships between the City and community organisations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Community Development Team to make a real difference in the community.

To be successful you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and significant experience in the community development sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing community development projects.
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with the community and community organisations.
  • Experience in grant processes, including grant applications and assessments.
  • Demonstrated capacity in researching and implementing community development events and projects.

This is a 12 month maternity leave cover opportunity.

Salary: $69,162-$81,411 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
