Position No: 489919

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Hobsons Bay City Council’s friendly Parks team for a motivated project management professional to join us to lead the implementation of capital works and operational projects from commencement to completion.

Leading a team of two Project Officers in the delivery of parks, conservation, and tree planting projects, you’ll prepare contract documentation, manage contractor performance during construction and maintenance periods, respond to requests from the community, conduct works inspections and oversee the street tree planting works.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and understanding of open space management and tree population management as well as relevant qualifications, high-level staff management skills, and well-developed written communications skills with experience in managing budgets and writing reports.
