Job Description

It is an exciting and challenging time to work for the Shire with ever increasing tourism developments and an 1100ha industrial zone ready to be developed along with our new and established settlement areas. We subsequently have a great opportunity for a Senior Planning Officer who is keen to expand their knowledge in a wide range of statutory and strategic planning matters. If you are a motivated, experienced and passionate planner, then we welcome you to our team. You will also bring a people-first attitude and have qualifications in town planning (or equivalent).

This position is offered full-time 76 hours per fortnight on a 9-day fortnight, a cash salary of up to $80,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) with additional (co-contribution) superannuation of up to 15% per Council policy. The opportunity to work-from-home part-time may be available in the future for the successful applicant.

All applicants must have an unrestricted “C” class license, the right to work in Australia and the ability to provide a National Police Clearance.
