NSW Education Standards Authority (‘NESA’) was formally established on 1 January 2017 to improve quality teaching and student learning across all schools and school sectors. It is responsible for the curriculum, assessment, teacher accreditation and regulatory standards in NSW schools, and accreditation of early childhood teachers.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to identify and document business processes, business, and functional requirements to align user stories and case scenarios with the scope to improve business systems and to align solutions with business requirements, infrastructure programs, organisational strategies, and plans.

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing Technologies, Infrastructure, Big Data, BI, UX/UI, Mobility, and SaaS
  • Extensive skills in preparing and presenting findings, recommendations, reports, spreadsheets, new operating models, and new workflows
  • Exceptional problem solving, analytical and organisational skills including the ability to recommend improvements/alternatives
  • Strong consulting, negotiation skills and ability to work within diverse teams and key stakeholders both internal and external to the organization

Question 1: Demonstrate with an example where you identified, analysed and documented business processes, systems, and other functional requirements to facilitate improvement and support efficient delivery of business operations and performance in line with organisational strategies and operational plans.

Question 2: Please describe/outline your approach to applying business process redesign on adoption of the SaaS solution.
