Job Description

Longreach State High School is seeking a VET Qualified (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) teacher to deliver the Certificate II in Kitchen Operations to our cluster of schools, including Blackall State School, Winton State School, Aramac State School and Barcaldine State School. This adventurous teacher will spend, on average, 2 weeks each term in each of the five schools, delivering the program from the Big Red Truck, our mobile catering kitchen. This position comes with generous locality allowances for regional and remote service, as well as supports for the itinerant nature of the position. The position may require some weekend work throughout the year, to cater for events, but this is compensated through our time off in lieu (TOIL) program.
