We are a highly collaborative and energetic team who deliver tremendous ICT Support to NSW Public Schools and Corporate offices..

About the role

The ICT Support Officer provides ICT support to facilitate the delivery of efficient, quality ICT services to

NSW public schools and departmental offices.

The role contributes to a high performing team and acts to ensure excellent customer service and continuous service improvement.

Provide customer facing support both onsite and remotely to NSW Public Schools in the IT services below:

  • Network Printers
  • LAN and Wi-Fi Networking installation and troubleshooting
  • Video Conferencing
  • Software Applications such as MS Teams, SharePoint, Google Apps
  • Assisting with commissioning IT in new schools
  • iOS and MacOS MDM Management / JAMF and Google Chromebooks
  • Windows OS desktop and notebook support

Essential requirements of the role

  • Current Drivers Licence with a good driving history record; willingness to travel as required
  • Hold a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check)

Key knowledge and experience

Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
