About the role
This is a highly rewarding career opportunity to work with the Information Technology Directorate of the Department of Education. This is a varied role that gives you an opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, consulting, and subject matter expertise in the definition, design, planning, building, configuration, and integration of the Department’s desktop-related issues.

Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience or relevant certification in enterprise-scale desktop management
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows and Apple desktop technologies
- Proven experience in solution development & delivery, product lifecycle, and customer service
- Experience in ICT infrastructure
- Development of Written Procedures, engineering drawings, and Other Technical documentation
- Lead team of technical staff to deliver highly available desktop services
Essential requirements of the role
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
