The successful applicant will be appointed to Georges River College and initially based at Penshurst Girls Campus.

Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Library (Secondary) or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.

Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and flexibility in the approach to promoting and managing library processes and procedures that enhance 21st century learning environments.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to plan and evaluate in collaborative teams across the school community.

Demonstrated ability to support and deliver innovative teaching and learning practices and programs in consultation with faculties to engage, inspire and extend future focused learning.


An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
