Job Description:
The Lecturer First Aid will provide a quality educational service of training, assessment and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

To be the successful applicant you must have:

• minimum of 5 years of experience in an occupation or a volunteer role, which requires the provision of First Aid, Resuscitation, managing an emergency, and trauma for all age groups;
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or Diploma/ higher level qualification in adult education
• the following units of competency: HLTAID011; HLTAID012 or demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge contained within the units
• Currency in skills and knowledge based on the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines in the pre-hospital setting.

Special Conditions:

• long term contract up to 30/06/2023
• must be eligible to work in Australia with an appropriate VISA;
• some out of hours work may be required;
• have or gain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
