Job Description:
Working under broad direction the Education Partnerships Consultant (Metro) is accountable for reviewing, developing, coordinating and delivering programs, initiatives and activities that support the fulfilment of TAFE SA’s education partnerships and school's engagement strategy in support of organisational objectives. The role is required to develop, coordinate, participate in and evaluate events and marketing activities which raise awareness of, and participation in, VET programs and pathways to high school students and other stakeholders including employers, teachers and VET coordinators. The role works collaboratively with the Manager, Education Partnerships (Metro), and proactively maintains strong relationships with high schools and employers in their region and takes an active role in the provision of course information and advice to prospective students. The role is responsible for promoting TAFE SA courses and programs into high schools and the community.

This is an ongoing, 1.0 FTE position at the ASO6 classification ($92,784 - $98,143) per annum based at our Regency Campus.

  • The incumbent will need to travel to an alternative locations, when required
  • Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required
  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Appointment to this position will be subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Committed towards enhancing their current skills base that will be reviewed frequently as part of the formal PMD and KPI process.
