Secondary Teacher in Special Education (Diversity) - Burpengary State Secondary College

Burpengary State Secondary College is seeking a Special Education teacher (Diversity) for semester 2, 2022. BSSC is a 7 year old school, situated on Brisbane's northern fringe, in the Moreton Bay Council region. Our Diversity department has state-of-the-art facilities, and the successful candidate will be joining a passionate and experienced team committed to Every Student Succeeding. • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. • In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
• Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.

Workers in education settings, including schools, early childhood and care services (such as kindergartens and childcare centres) or Outside School Hours Care, will need to have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by 17 December 2021, and the second dose by 11:59pm on 23 January 2022.
